Wednesday 23 November saw the first outing of Satyalila’s birthday scarf – appropriately enough on her 40 and a halfth birthday!

The scarf, a gift in kit form (ie wool and needles!) from Judith and Dave, was knitted up by Satyalila’s friends and family during her 40th birthday party with almost everyone present knitting (or dropping….) a few stitches. Ably started, finished and fixed (!) by Eryl Foulkes, Chief Knitter, the scarf contains many happy memories of a great party and many wonderful friends and family-members who gamely took up the needles at Satyalila’s request!
